The outsiders an amazing novel by the amazing author S.E Hinton. This book takes place in 1980 in a hard part of pony boys life. Pony has gone through a lot so far in his life as his parents died when he was young and his gang the  greasers are with I rivalry with the socs. This book talks about the struggles the greasers have with pony. One lesson in this story is that you should always have your friends back because sometimes you might need there’s.

 

One part for this is pony never is alone he is always with his friends. Because he loves his friends and they are like his brothers. Like in the beginning of the story Darry had pony’s back when his parents died it made all of gang member come together and love one another. That is why they are better than the socs because they have a way better bond then them.  Like Darry says to pony after his parents died “I got your back bro”. I think that is very important for Darry.

 

in the middle of the story there is a lot of change. As they got in some trouble with the socs. As first the socs were coming at them and darry had to do the unthinkable. As they beat up Johnny  so Darry needed some revenge. He killed a soc that try killing pony. Pony said “bro why did you kill him” as Darry stated “he was hurting you” so darry was looking out for pony . So they fled so they didn’t caught. So they went to a old church and stayed there. As they walked in pony said “why did we go here” Darry had to explain that it was for the best. The middle in the story was hard because they left everyone.

 

In the end of the book it is important as they left everything. So they stayed in an old abandoned church for a while as they would just read all day. As one day Johnny found them and was ecstatic. He walked in and saw them they were so excited to see him. As Johnny  stated  “you know I would never leave you”. And I think that is cool how Johnny will never leave them. When Johnny got beat up they were all they there for him and when they were in trouble he was there for them.

 

so I think that is a clear theme for this book.  Because many thing support that it is the theme.   And this book is good and I very recommend it. But always have your friends back because you might need them too.

 

This is is a very good book so far. The main character is named pony boy. He lives in an OK house with his brother darry and friend sodapop. the book is about the gang the greasers and the socs they hate each other.

pony boy is a good kid. his parents died when he was little in a car crash. but he is in the gang named the greasers. the greasers are a bunch of kids that are friends that have long hair so they call them the greasers. the gang they do not like the socs there a bunch of rich white kids that want to cut there hair.

Have you ever went to school and were hungry but remembered that lunch is nasty. This is the struggle for students at Blackhawk middle school. We need to have better lunches to have more energy during the day. That’s why students are tired during the day. They made them healthy but the quality of the food went down.

The one thing that the school wishes they had was water instead of

milk in the food line. And the water coasts money. And that could help kids get or stay heathy. to get better food for school they should make it there. Many schools in Indiana make their own lunches. They even have a kitchen in there school. So there lunches are better because its REAL FOOD!

Project bread says that the research about good lunches says” kids need good lunches it proven”

I get that they wanted to make the lunches heathy but they took the salt away from it. They need some salt in are food to keep its flavor. Then people will love to come to school and have an amazing day. And they need that.

School is a very important in young people’s lives. School helps you get and have a good future. And kids at this age get tired or distracted easily so lunch will help toughs things . And teachers really want their students to do their work and have every one listen. But if there sleeping it won’t help their future.

Yes this is a real problem for students. Raymond told us that “those are gross!”. You may think lunches don’t matter but for some students they don’t get food at home then they look forward to this. Or there family might not have money so this might be there food and they want it to be good. And then they are nasty so that’s not good .

The fort Wayne school board needs to do something about these lunches. They need to do thing as the people. And that is what I think about the Blackhawk lunches. We need to do something!

Football genius- Tim Green

:This is a good book talking about troy and his football life. Troy lives in Atlanta Georgia. And he can predict plays before they happen.

:My favorite character  in this book is troy. I just really like that he is good at football. And he is very intelligent. And he seems really cool with his friends.

:This book compares to a lot of the books I read because I read a lot of sports books. And I’ve read some Tim green books. And these books tell a story of a person and how he gets better.

:Yes I would recommend this to a friend. this a action filled novel with football! And lots of my friends play and like football so they would enjoy this novel.

: I’m better understanding what I’m reading and picturing it. And I’ve been seeing better reading habits for reading.

: The most surprising thing is that he is not as good as he could be. He could be amazing because he can detect the  play.

 

It was just last year when something good for the pal packers happened . They weren’t very good  during the regular season. But managed to pull away at the end of the season.so the fans of the pal packers were ecstatic.

 

The players were hardly getting ready for this game. This is a big a big game for them because it do or die. They want to win badly.   Later the coaches told them that they were playing the pal colt a very good offense team.

So the players were exited to see what they could do. The game day was very cold and windy. So most of the player were very cold. But they were ready to play.

They took the field and were super hyped up. The pal colts came out strong but the first quarter ended and it was 0-0.

The game was evenly matched and they pulled away and scored. And the pal packers were getting killed by the colts and it was  a sad game for the packers as it was soon going to be there last game. The end of the game ended as a 28-7 score the colts won. The packers were bummed but there season is over.

-The last book I read was called the sinking of the Titanic. I liked this book a lot because it was very  interesting about the history of it.

• The book that I chose from the library was the Greatest moments in sports history, it is very good. And can inform you more about sports  and what has happened throw out the years.
